Each participant at the party will choose a bead to string on the mother's bracelet as a symbol of their love and support for the mom and baby. Well wishes, including poetry or motherly advice, are given at this time. The bracelet may be worn by the mother during her pregnancy and labor as a source of positive energy and strength. |

A bead or charm is chosen and knotted into a bracelet by all participants to be worn in honor of the mother. Additionally, they will be presented with a blessing candle to keep in their homes and light when the mother begins labor. |
